I’ve been a part of the world long enough to know That you should never judge a book by its cover. Just because someone says, it doesn’t make it so. Make up your own mind by learning from each other. Some people are born into lots of wealth and money, And some are born into the world of the poor. Rich in cash, not love, is another kind of poverty. Those with less strive harder to find open doors. Don’t assume anything based on the color of skin. There are good people and bad people in every race. How you live your life is a choice that comes from within. You and I are different, though we come from the same place. As I lie here and chatter with my new-found friends, I can’t help but wonder if I’ll ever see them again. My life is a gift and my family is a Godsend, But when will they let me out of this crib; oh, when, oh when?
