Christmas Lullaby
In a stable bare Lying in a manger. Just a little Child, Destined to be King. And right there by His side Was His gentle Mother To hold Him tenderly A lullaby to sing… While angels way up in the sky Sang, “Glory to the Lord on high!” The Blessed Mother would quietly sing A Christmas lullaby. A Christmas lullaby. Far from Nazareth The family had traveled. Up to Bethlehem, There to be enrolled. And there the Child was born And God was truly with us. The Virgin bore a Son Just as it was foretold. While angels way up in the sky Sang, “Glory to the Lord on high!” The Blessed Mother would quietly sing A Christmas lullaby. A Christmas lullaby. Quiet was the night As Mary held her Baby. Softly did she smile At His every sigh. In that stable bare A Child and His Mother. A moment just for them To share a lullaby… While angels way up in the sky Sang, “Glory to the Lord on high!” The Blessed Mother would quietly sing A Christmas lullaby. A Christmas lullaby.
