What was done was done. Payback delivered. The blood had been sickening and the vomit that followed smelled like hell as his guilt he swallowed. Scared now he’d left the scene after wiping everything clean. He jumped in his car. He thought he’d erased the scar. But tears welled up as uncontrolled they fell down his cheeks and his throat began to swell. He couldn’t stop now. He drove faster and faster around each dangerous curve on two wheels he swerved. As in his mind he relived his crime suddenly he had to turn on a dime. When he snapped back to reality it was too late. The eighteen-wheeler he faced sealed his fate.
