Have You Ever Thanked
Have you stepped out bare footed? In the rood full of pebbles, sometimes hot pitched and sometimes glass rooted? Have you watched them play? Wishing to have someone to care, with fear at night and got chased away in day? Have you roamed around cluelessly? With no one by your side, to guide, and hold you hands tight, while crossing the road carelessly? Have you smiled while you got a slice of bread? Empty stomach, wishing for a temporarily long life, sitting on a street`s bed near to death? Have you ever got wet all night? Having no roof, no home, no love and soft towels to wipe and make you feel bright and light? Have you faced? all alone till this day, to have people around you similar to you, knowing they will leave soon and not stay? No, right? So Have you ever thanked them? For not letting you face these? Thanked those who made you strong and courageous, smart enough to face the world? Thanked them who made you strong and brave enough to thank yourself? Thanked them who never let your head bow with shame? Thanked them for all you got, your name and fame? (Here, them refers to the family, friends or beloved ones who have always stayed on our side.)
