Bougainvillea
There was this lady in adjacent manor. Beautiful! Just like idyllic sun- kissed pretty flower. Her radiant white skin held everyone spellbound. Orange, white, magenta, yellow, golden, red or pink tint, Her dresses! Heralds of blooming bright gauzy ‘Brachts’. Always pristine and calm like a perfect queen. Staying strong and unflinching against all insurmountable odds. Just like verdurous, indomitable, indefatigable squad. Protective guardian, stalwart companion or a naughty friend. No tantrums! As per prerequisite, she would always blend. Very harsh, very rude! Her toxic words were so very shrewd. Every coin has two sides, is that true! OMG! How she could be a brute? Benevolent at heart, conduct apricot hard, always appeared downcast! Then I asked her one day, “what’s the daunting cause?” She said, "I have one complaint that I have always ranted, Why everyone takes me for granted!" "My simplicity has been unjustly reprimanded!" I just know, "Smart people manage their affair, But for simple people God is always there!"...……. ...……...…………her name was Cynthia! But, she reminds me of bougainvillea! 20/03/2019 Bougainvillea Poetry Contest Sponsored by: craig cornish
