Gabbie Hanna is an American internet personality who is best known for her comedy videos which she posts on YouTube. She has also written books of poetry, most notably Adultolescence, and released two EPs as a singer. She has also released a number of singles from these albums. She has over six million subscribers on YouTube.

Before Fame

She was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, and grew up alongside her six siblings. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in psychology and communications. She spent a number of years working for a marketing company and she was very successful at this but left her job because the company was using pyramid schemes. She decided to move to LA to pursue a career as an actress and social media influencer.

Career

She first became widely recognized for the videos that she posted on Vine. She posted her videos under the name The Gabbie Show and she later also used this name for her YouTube channel. She created a second channel that focused on vlogs rather than sketches and this is called More Gabbie Hanna.

She released her debut single Out Loud in 2017 and this was followed by a number of other singles and two EPs. She is also due to release her first studio album later in 2020.

She also released her first poetry book called Adultolescence in 2017. She is planning to release her second book, Dandelion, in October 2020.

2017 was a busy year for her, as she also began her acting career by appearing in the online series, Escape The Night. She became part of the main cast in the second season and has recently reprised the role for season four.

Personal Life

She was raised as a Catholic, but there are some aspects of the religion that she doesn't agree with such as disapproval of homosexuality.

She has struggled with anxiety and depression in the past and has talked openly about her struggles with mental health.
