Poem
He Will Make A Way You know, I have never been one who liked being alone so when a divorce came and my children were raised that is exactly what happened to me which brought pain clear to my bones. I would come home from church or work and fall down on my bedroom floor begging the Lord to let me die month after month the pain and the tears until at one point, I had no more tears to cry. You see, it was after I died to me that I had told Him that I would go anywhere He wanted me to go but just make and lead the way and after watching a favorite minister of mine on TV my Lord told me to sell everything and leave in answer to what I had prayed. He didn’t send me so far away from home at first but was preparing me for the journey ahead of my life the first move was only one hundred and twenty miles away then it became twenty five hundred and ten miles or a good five day’s drive. Sometimes I felt like a crybaby for when I would again come home from work and fall upon my floor and cry being so desperately lonely but He knew for He would cover me with His presence until my eyes He would dry. I soon began to know my Lord the three Persons of Him as He knew that I would need for when I would drive by myself to new destinations The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit I would definitely need them to lead. After two years of living twenty five hundred and ten miles from my old home He prepared me and was sending me off again this time it was totally across and down my homeland and then down beside the sea and then! For you see, He had a new life for me and a mate that He promised would be a man of God and full of His power and he was waiting there for me. Yet before I met him, there were times in this new place I thought I would miserably fail the cost of living and low paying jobs would buffet me like an old ship in a storm that set sail! But, I had to keep this all to myself and tell only my God for this was a test between Him and me so no one else could know how much this was costing me but I just would stand of Him in awe. Dear God, homeless I would pray Lord please do not let that be the end of the lesson or maybe the end of me and I would pray now, continually! And one more move I had to undertake and this time only two hours away and I found in this move the love of my life and in a few months, I would throw my bridal bouquet! Written by: Marilyn S.
