Adikavi Pampa

Adikavi Pampa was a renowned poet in the Kannada language, considered one of the greatest poets in early 10th-century South India. He is credited with introducing the champu style of writing, which combines prose and verse, and is known for his epic poem "Vikramarjuna Vijaya" (also known as "Pampa Bharata"). Pampa's work played a significant role in shaping the language and literature of the Kannada-speaking region, making him an influential figure in the history of Kannada literature.
