It's Anzac Day today Or lads were sent away To fight a war And what the hell for Because they had to pay

Thank you so much Liam, yes it is all about war, why we celebrate is beyond me, but every year it is a big thing over here, Peter has marched a couple of times with the Vietnam vets but now he sees the silly side of it all, surely it is something we would like to forget, anyway my friend thank you so much for the lovely comment, take care...........Vera........

Hi Vera, This was a emotional statement one I really understand. War is not fair. Never has been. Never will be. I have gratitude and respect for anyone who has served. Deborah you are too kind, I also hate wars and I really don't see any need for them but obviously our polies. love wars. We celebrate Anzac day every year and I think Peter had only ever marched once, even though he served in the Australian Army he hates war, so thank you so much for taking the time to read, take care my dear..........Vera...........

Hi Vera; This is true. What I think about WARS is someone wants power. I think that the two leaders of the Countries that are fighting the war, should put on some boxing gloves and fight themselves, but they are too coward to do that. Thanks for sharing... Lucilla
