This is indeed a gem of a poem sending out radiance of all shades as from a zircon mixture. "In conflagration’s desire Sparks flash in gold" . Those sparks are dazzling, blinding my eyes. Your images and expressions are nonpareil. 'Frost crystal diadems'.... it is poetry in itself. Well done, dear Sam.

Dearest Valsa, the words of your lovely message dance like the fire of the zircon through my spirit and lighten my heart today! A heartfelt thank you dear friend! I had always thought of the zircon as a second class gem in comparison with the diamond, emerald or ruby until learning about it as I wrote this poem. It truly is an amazing gemstone. Mahalo, noa'aloha! Like the diamond there is a mystical fire that smolders in the multi colored zircon. I had such fun exploring the many "facets" of the zircon - a birthstone of fiery brilliance for the cold of December. ke Akua pu! E malama pono!
