In a gentle voice, without any other choice, she sings in blushing rose, as heartfelt yearning slows… In a soft song, resonating all night long, her light trembles warm, feelings flow despite the storm… In an urgent burning, even without discerning, she breaths hope and love, messages sent from God above… In soundless signs. reading between the lines, her heart full of grace, a light we’ll all embrace… In the stillness of a dawn, feeling like she can’t go on, knowing when silence speaks, she’ll ensure serenity the spirit seeks.

Precious piece, Regina. You have touched the heart of one who is moved with disgust at the negligence, abuse and violence against children in today's society. Thanks for sharing and congratulations on a well-written piece. I give it a first place rank.
