In the silence of the night, a soul in turmoil rests, Too close to the edge, where the breaking point tests. A symphony of chaos, a mind about to crack, Yearning to scream, but courage it does lack. Stressed to the max, burdened with heavy chains, Heart pounding loudly, as despair remains. At the cliff's edge, gazing into the abyss deep, A fragile spirit struggles, longing for peaceful sleep. The weight of the world upon fragile shoulders, Dark clouds gather, as doubt smolders. Yet in the darkness, a flicker of light, A glimmer of hope, shining ever so bright. Courage rises from the depths of despair, Whispers of strength fill the troubled air. Too close to the edge, but not too far gone, For in the depths of struggle, a new dawn is born.

Turmoil of the mind, so well you conveyed Sara in these lines: The weight of the world upon fragile shoulders, Dark clouds gather, as doubt smolders. I like the positive turn in the ending lines--For in the depths of struggle, a new dawn is born.

It captures the universal struggle with inner turmoil and the transformative power of hope and resilience. The structured rhyme and rhythm, combined with vivid imagery, make the emotional journey both impactful and memorable.

This poem is brilliant. So near to death, but in the end common sense prevails. Best for a win.

lovely poem with insightful words. I especially liked 'the weight of the world upon fragile shoulders.' That's the way I feel sometimes. I also liked: For in the depths of struggle, a new dawn is born. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts via this poem, Sara K. Have a blessed evening, hugs, Sara
