Somebody Like You

And when the parade ends then what Memories some good some bad some regrets Songs I remember lyrics I can forget But your love is a song that eases my troubled mind You promised to never leave me I doubted that And my rebellious ways running is all I knew I wanted a separation you go your way I go my way so it played out for awhile I ran yet you ran with me when others didn’t That’s never happened before I am not easily understood I don’t easily understand When I was hopeless You gave my hand a squeeze I joined you for some bread and wine I never knew somebody like You Your love was not a lie like so many before And you kissed my soul like no other
