She Came To Me

She came to me in the noon day sun.. her world wistful, longing for an unsung quiet. But I would not remain still, nor silent, though her hours in life, never meant for long. Desperately I grasped her up in loving embrace.. And in her arms cried, please let her remain! I offered myself in sacrifice to assuage, but enchanted sirens called sweetly, come., and left me alone on an empty stage.

Another very sad write, but glad you could hold her in your minds embrace which was important for you, Maybe it will happen again, when you least expect it. Great imagery. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Paul, Longing, yes. Longing described in your poem 'Unspoken Words', your words. Reality is what we conceive it to be (as long as no one is directly harmed). I hope you're doing well tonight. You are an inspiration to me. -Richard

It is strange how fast some of us race right to the bargaining part.

You can feel the longing and the loss in every line, I especially like the last two lines, such sweet melancholy-
