Script Writer vs Poet

You capture me with your radiant smile Hearty bold laugh impassive and vexing Little grey hairs in your barely there beard Needling your chocolate chin for years Your artistic style and fashion sense In a suit that could pay purple rent Of course you write and to my delight You include me in the story of your life

Each line unique, yet you have somehow bound them together to make something that flows like an evening gown. and shows no seam. Impressive. Best regards David in NZ

You write so beautifully my friend, ' IN A SUIT THAT COULD PAY PURPLE RENT', wow, what a creative imagination. Sounds as if this person was or is part of your life, glad you like the fact that he includes you in the story of his life! Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Karen, this is so clever and cute! A fave for me! Love the subtle touch of grey hairs and the chocolate chin (great alliteration)… In a suit that could pay purple rent…the title, impeccable!

Oh my! Did it come off boastfully? I write from my life and at times inspired by feelings about it. Thanks for the feedback!
