~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Risking the wishes of a silent night,
Colored in hope,
Silent and slow, rising far off,
Beyond the milky slumber of a sunset,
Blazing bloodshot and drinking
Melancholy, ruddy faced,
As the moments,
Poured out on the twilight,
Leaving echoes of yesterday
Amid prayers for tomorrow and yet,
Faded beneath the reddish haze,
Mysteries, alive
Like the scarlet blaze,
Raising its heavy hand to the moon,
Hello, she smiles,
Remembering that, yes,
Just this moment her light has become,
More than just a passing memory,
But an imprint on history,
She is alive, like the darkening past,
Risking the wishes of a silent night…
She raises her hand to the moon,
Bleeding light despite the knowledge
That soon, she will be gone,
Just a memory in tones of amber and gold,
Bold memory floating on the seas,
Where hearts are enchanted by her leaving,
Her mysterious exodus from the evening.
