Me and Myself By I
I would say that I am beside myself
but I cannot see any other me
or even garner what such means;
so, if I am truly side by side as two
then both must be clothed in obtuse.
I may be out of touch with myself
but my hands can sense my skin
so i am not a delirium figurine.
If I were simply tired of myself then
sleeping and awakening again
would bookend dreams to mediate
peace within all my breathing states.
I will not say I cannot stand myself
because I can without need of aid
and, besides, that sounds egregious
especially to my demure delicate ears.
Wherever I go, myself also same time shows
unable to consecrate my happy elated
far above indigent moods that take it.
