"One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life. The word is love.” Sophocles, Greek Poet
When love meets your silhouette at twilight, heart unfurls chamomile flowers so bright, flickering sunset hues in eloquence, to veil greying grief in rose elegance.. Life when harmonized with bronze strings of bliss; the charming cadence of soul's ardent kiss, paints a picturesque sea of lilac sky, where mauve threads mirror day-dreams, soaring high. So let this sonorous pilgrim embrace, silence that serenades in moon-wrapped grace. This musical devotion shared so dear, shall unchain the flaming fears tangled near. I'm weaving hope from syllables of peace~ and crippled thoughts, bleeding ink does release.

IE, I'm thinking that a cup of coffee could be a little bitter. Your words are like the sprinkle of sugar that makes the senses smile and feel wonderful. I love how you embrace silence and have musical devotion at the same time. It makes me think about how that is possible. Seems almost meditative, but I have to process the idea more.

"the charming cadence of soul's ardent kiss, paints a picturesque sea of lilac sky," -- beautiful imagery! Love has many prime colors and hues...though each of us seeing pigment and shades a bit differently, when it comes to love, at some point in time, will attempt a garden of our own to plant and nurture into divine blossom. "I'm weaving hope from syllables of peace~ and crippled thoughts, bleeding ink does release." Let us pray together for individual and world peace. Love is the only answer. Your poem is profoundly appreciated.

"I'm weaving hope from syllables of peace~ and crippled thoughts, bleeding ink does release. " What an arresting conclusion to this love laden sonnet. This poem has an unusual flow and smoothness. Though you are so adept in free verse, here you have proved that you are equally proficient in rhyming poetry too. This is so faultlessly done, dear Empress. "Life when harmonized with bronze strings of bliss; the charming cadence of soul's ardent kiss, paints a picturesque sea of lilac sky, where mauve threads mirror day-dreams, soaring high." Wow.... wow! So impeccable. Into my FAVE

Dear Inky - wow- this is stunningly impressive! Is this your first sonnet? Now who’s doing the brilliant rhyming. I love your free verse, but, being a rhymer as you know, I appreciate the immense talent and artistry being so eloquently displayed here. To me, this is perfection with your immaculate 10 syllables, flowing cadence, perfect rhymes, what you have so poetically captured, etc, etc, etc. Amazing dear one. Constance is going to love this one as much as I do!

Awwn chriszy, thank you so much. You are always so kind and generous and i can feel the sincerity of your comments and compliments, for which i am truly grateful for . I do sonnets sometimes and it isnt my first sonnet, but this sonnet is done according to the contest rules and it isnt a traditional one, . I hope to see you try a sonnet, sonnets are not difficult to do but you know how i feel about rhymes, they dont come easy for me so i use my brain when writing them. Sending you always light and im so happy to receive your comments

Dear Ink, your poem is truly splendid. The experience is incredibly poignant, causing me to contemplate the possibility of finding love at my older age ( smile), while the lingering sadness remains in the background. Your penmanship is exquisite, perfectly blending with sentiments of affection. A heart unfurls vibrant chamomile flowers when love encounters your silhouette at dusk. The heart's passionate kiss creates a beautiful melody, resulting in a stunning sea of violet skies. You possess a remarkable talent for creating serene scenes amidst chaos. I greatly appreciated every word you used to convey healing and optimism, emphasizing the profound beauty of language as a means of liberation and creation.

Only you can write a sonnet with such vivid descriptions.. now to try the lipogram.. This is a delicate dance of twilight hues and emotional resonance, where love emerges as a beacon of hope amidst the shadows of grief. The imagery of chamomile flowers unfurling in the heart's twilight, accompanied by flickering sunset hues, paints a vivid picture of the healing power of love's embrace. The metaphor of life harmonized with the bronze strings of bliss evokes a sense of harmony and serenity, while the lilac sky and soaring day-dreams mirror the boundless possibilities of love's embrace.
