Kiss
v
The kiss is a promised oath of desire
soft sweet flushed as a dream beyond reason
a mutual bonding caressed by fire
when such passionate kisses are deepened
the truth of ardor will expose the soul
when the shadow of delight hides no more
this secret yearning is binding and whole
allows emotions to amass and pour
with every kiss, the heart will skip a beat
attune to the breath of lovers tethered
and find in this bonding there's no retreat
such fervor welcomes tremors treasured
to taste the soul in kisses we render
a kiss is a dream wanton and tender
