~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Henry carried his house on his back, He could get up and leave, no need to pack. Although travel was slow For this escargot He traveled alone, made his own track. Although it took him many years Henry finally made it to Algiers. The city was so grand After trekking through sand, Leaving a trail of slime, sweat, and tears.
Algiers, eh?! What a trek for Henry Escargot! He must really have been flying! Literally... I just consulted Prof. Google, who told me that it's 6 miles driving from Birkhadem, the closest town, to Algiers. BUT it's only 3 miles flying! LOL. Enjoyed this fast-paced limerick, Sara. ~ gw
Yes, Henry's pretty exhausted after his whirlwind global trek. Gosh, if he could only fly :-) Appreciate your visit and wit. Have a pleasant day, Sara
