I Would Rather Fall

Love generously grants with ease  Thrill of a stolen kiss,  But doesn't come with guarantee  Of lasting joyful bliss.  Love tests with ambiguous quirks - From playful to insane. If we stay to endure, it works, Reward outweighs the pain. Take it or leave it, up to you - I'd rather take the fall. To feel the fervour flaring through - Is worth risking it all.  So followed I quests from above, Thrilled by a stolen kiss. The one that led to you, my love, Warrants our lasting bliss. Love contrived, but not survived. Was never known before we tried. To speak much more would taint amore. So kiss em' all on your way out the door.

You make a very good argument, Maggie. Rarely does love come without strings. Nobody wants to be a marionette. However, I might steal a quick smooch just for a taste. One never knows:)

One never knows! It takes two, no matter how. If together, it must be love if apart, it’s a fantasy. The latter may last forever:)
