I Will Not Deny

I will not deny the groom, the Son of God. Would you deny what is tangible, defraud? The way that leads to destruction is broad. He is the way, the truth and life, light and salt. He loves you — if you miss this, it's all your fault. For you he paid the price — took the assault. When he carried the cross, they had destroyed him. They hammered nails into him, stretching his limbs. “Father, why have you forsaken me,” dims his life, the earth grows dark — it is finished. The devil’s evil plot has been diminished. T’s crossed, the i’s dotted — nothing unfinished! The grave could not hold him — he rose in three days. The tangibility he would convey. Where he left them, he will return the same way. He says in the end all knees will bow - how ‘bout now? No need to be condemned if you follow now. His blood shed, his body bruised — receive him now. 4/21/2020

A great piece Kim telling well with boldness and faith the truth of the love of God in His son Jesus Christ who died so we by faith could enter into his abode. Blessings, Gordon

Kim, loving your boldness with this statement of faith and challenge to draw nearer to the Savior! Especially liked your triplet rhymes and the line "For you he paid the price — took the assault." There's the gospel in 9 words. Amen to all of this. Blessings ~ John

Powerful poem. Always relevant but more so as we see the day approaching. People need to hear the wonderful news of Christ and his atoning sacrifice for mankind. It's an urgent message of salvation and great news for all sinners.

A beautiful prayer statement of faith Kim. I agree, the choice is up to each of us. I was not familiar with the Masnavi form of poetry. It is a perfect choice for this poem. Thank you for sharing it. Many blessings to you.
