Going Back
Here I am with my suitcase,
travelling back to Kenya;
I only have to give out my flight
ticket, and I'll never see you any more...
This really hurts;
the thoughts about our romantic nights
and beautifully random conversations
can't get out of my mind, no matter
how hard I try.
I was desperately looking for a home
where my soul could feel welcome -
it found you!
I have been going all around the world,
looking for happiness in the wrong places
and wrong company,
only for the gods to show me I was
getting groomed psychologically to meet
the one we would share each other's merry
and life's storms together.
On second thought, I will light some red
candles with the flight ticket;
my crazy journeys stop right here and now,
right in front of you.....
