God Is Ever Near

GOD IS EVER NEAR Some times the day is dreary, And you feel all alone and wonder if there’s anyone who cares, oh, yes. Some times the way gets weary, And you may feel your load is much more heavy than you want to bear. But if you just will realize there is a God up in the skies, You’ll find that God is ever near to cheer, to comfort and to guide you; He’s standing there at your heart’s door and asking to come in. You’ll find that God is ever dear to lead and walk along beside you. So simply bow your head in prayer and see that God is ever near. God makes the day seem brighter, Though there are clouds above, He shows the sunshine through His wondrous love, oh, yes. God makes the burdens lighter And He forgives the sin and sends His Spirit to indwell within. So if you’re lost, just bow in prayer; you’ll find the Saviour’s waiting there.
