Fluffy Fat Robin

Fluffy fat robin full of worms, tummy round You are creeping across the snow, with nary a sound. Probably wishing you could dig and go underground. At least your hat is warm with stripes that go around. Fluffy fat robin, you are friendship duty bound Please tell me who created your hat and scarf, was it the hound? It is too marvelous to be something you merely found. If you tell me, I swear I will not tell anyone else around.

I always feel bad for the robins that have 2 deal with the spring snow, such troupers. My daughter & I shoveled snow and raked up the dirt underneath, feeling sorry for them one March. Your first line is my favorite. Bless u sweet robins, and your little blue eggs. I loved this poem.

Caren, It fairly sings in song. As good as it gets for a fluffy fat robin wearing a hat and scarf. A tale of imagination fit for sharing with all generations. -Richard
