Divine of Mine
Oh dear Divine of Mine,
This letter will be given as a rhyme.
For it is the only way my heart can speak
To my true love with my own technique.
You’ve caused a flaw that briefly altered you and I.
A small slip of a lover’s heart dashed to some other,
Throwing me into a great grief to ponder as I cry.
Forcing me to painfully reminisce while I lose my colour.
You are my boy who is supposed to see forever with me,
To raise a farm of animals in a beautiful countryside.
You’ve upset me and I mourned to a great degree.
Yet in the end, after all tears are cried, I will coincide.
Somewhere inside you is me and the love we shared
Those six months which make up the best parts of my life.
A spark in my heart that no one has ever compared,
To a love so profound in this instant I was never prepared.
Though I forgave,
I annexed this anger.
My heart surely gave
To a sweet love I no longer anchor.
