Cool, crisp night air carries the call of the loon Two trumpeter swans croon timeless tunes... Hey, what’s that banging drowning out romance so soon Why, just the calming rhythms of college kids drumming Not to worry... quite soon all ears will be numbing

Dear Gershon, I completely adore and prefer the sounds of Nature over "college kids drumming" any day. But your last verse has a more cautionary feel to it. Unfortunately, I feel like ears have been and will continue to be numbing as we go forward in time. Wonderful rhymes move through intriguing verse with ease. Warmest wishes my poet friend.. ~Susan
