And Never Have Been Loved

and never have been loved she would bath in the tears of the Angels and dance in the moonlight she wrote poetry on the fallen leaves set them a drift in a flowing brook she would sing her lyrics into the wind for she believed love would carry her songs to the one for whom she was betrothed and written within the lines scrolled upon leaves a message only her betrothed would know and on moonlight night when the wind is right lovers will hear a duet and will dance in the moonlight and if you have never heard their song in the wind then you only dream of love and never have been loved
