A Raging Inferno

Love doesn't need to knock you down Sometimes it's ever so subtle Before you know it you're under it's spell Helplessly trapped in love's bubble No use trying to escape the entrapment It's futile you're under it's spell After long and heightened anticipation Your pulse is racing like hell The absolute extreme best kind of love One that's totally uncontrived The kind that happens when least expected That takes you by complete surprise Excitement almost more than you can bear You think you're going insane Can't sleep, can't do normal everyday things Your world has been set aflame Love often starts so innocently at first And grows into a love tornado Passionate love that builds and builds Until it's a raging inferno!

Sometimes it makes you go weak at the knees but without it we'd be like a rudderless ship. Hope your day is going well Jack. Tom

a wonderful poem, dear Jack. Your right. Love doesn't need to knock us down. In our case, such was true. But love is tricky, engulfing us before we knew. We we during a raging inferno, 42 years ago today! Enjoyed this poem, for today is our anniversary! Have a pleasant day, hugs, Sara

Yes 42 years was exactly the same number of years my first wife Linda lived until breast cancer took her away! :( Hugs, Happy Jack xxx
