Genisis 1

Genisis 1
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
27 So God created mankind in his own image,
    in the image of God he created them;
    male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.

In the coolness of the morning air
Silence resonates as a purple sun rises
The milky haze of pollution
Showing off its colours of blues and greys
The city still sleeps under a blanket of tainted air
A child coughs
A mother weeps
A father holds his head unable to help.
Man, the guardian of our earth is destroying it, and himself.

Luke 21:25-28 (NKJV) 25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”
no one knows the time of Jesus’ return, not the Son; only God the Father. Matthew 24:36 (NKJV) “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only”.
