Promises Not Kept
I'm drowning in the seas of bitter anger,
Secluded away from humanity's danger where
The lies of people throw me into a massive hysteria...
Out of the blues you sprouted from,
With your seraphic gaze which implies you're a different form,
Your smile ignite a flame of undying love,
Which strikes my world like a fire ball...
I never wanted to trust you,
I never wanted to love you,
I never wanted to hold you,
All I ever wanted was not to lose you..
You promised you'll never leave me,
You promised your kisses will bathe me,
You promised your words will caress me,
You promised I'll find refuge under ur arms,
You promised your words are not lies,
You promised me a time where our hearts will entwine,
You promised you'll shout out to the world you're mine.
So many promises,
So little commitments,
So many lies,
So little achievements,..
Now again, am drowning in the seas of bitter anger,
Riding trough the waves of desperation,
Wishing I never let down my guard n got succumbed to deception ,
All because ur promises weren't kept...
