Grey

The body had fatigue. the heart
Black and blind with fever.
The little crow cried as he passed.
The voice watched strength and
health end.
Nightmare, awakened meaning, in
horror.

My eyes stooped as pleasant days grey.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
