Asher

Since the first time we met I saw a fire in you that I had never before seen. When I saw your tears fall and threaten to extinguish that very flame, I would have done anything to keep that flame lit.
But now my own flame is in danger. It was never your request, but with no other option I have been lending you my oil, and now that I've found my well, I know that I must drink from it, quench my thirst and restore my fire. I know that if I don't, I will blow out into a pile of ashes.
So the time has come now that I must make a decision: remain a pile of ashes, or be reborn as a phoenix. The choice is simple, but I fear that when I bat my wings I will extinguish the very flame I have sacrificed so much to nurture.
So I ask this now: have all my sacrifices been in vain? When I fly away will I be able to return and see my little flame? Or will I find my home burnt to ash?
