Let Me Love You

In the dawn of winter
Hastily we ran hand in hand
Bathing our hair in boreal mist
resplendent sunrays unraveling them

With soft eyes and subtle touch
lovesome pecks, you entered my heart
A beauty you were even under the sky,
Beneath frosted blues and wild stars
Twilight, but our souls ignited like fire

your lips unfolded and whispered
I love you to my ears
a promise of love you gave me
a gift too precious to ask

anchor me in your embrace
let me be a delicate flower in your arms
'cause I love you in the sky
beside me, in each other' grasp
we don't need to rush, just slowly
let me love you in slow motion

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
