The Real Witch

Not many people know this
For I am a real life witch
When asked if I can prove it
I point to my nose and twitch

Will you cast a spell on me
The question most asked of I
I wish I could I think aloud
Perhaps I’ll try and try …

But you are scared of spiders
Is what they always say
The spells to make them friendly
I don’t have to my dismay

How big is your cauldron
Do you keep it in your shed
Of this you should be careful
I may decide to boil your head

Do you have a broomstick
So that you can fly around
Though it would be much quicker
Just like you I stay on ground

Why do you have a pointy hat
It can’t even keep you warm
I like to think it’s fashion
But my head is of that form

Why do you have a black cat
That surely is a myth
A pet I have always had
He just happens to be my fifth

On doorsteps scary pumpkins stand
To scare us witches away
My dear in fact they lead me there
It’s time for you to pray!

That was fun to read and your head is shaped like that really made me laugh. A fantastic Halloween offering. Wait...huh...someone just turned me into a toad...was that you? Ribbit. : )
