Hello, my name is Dawne Zacharias, I am attending Boise State University obtaining my second degree in Creative Writing, I am new at writing poetry. I find my deepest thoughts when I write, writing is a  journey to what is most meaningful and wanting to be shared. If I tell you about my thoughts I hope they are a benefit, a moment to contemplate another's birth of freedom that writing offers.

I spent most of my life as an RRT, or Registered Respiratory Therapist, in the ER's and ICU's of compromised individuals needing help when they were not conscious, or D.O.A of all ages. Running Ventilators in surgical rooms while a heart was being transplanted was a wonderful opportunity to understand the technical abilities that provide for those in need. My only desire was to make a difference in the lives of my patients. I retired after 35 years and I am a student again.
