A Grandparent's Love

A grandparent’s love is the greatest gift of all

A miracle has entered this world as a god sent blessing

And has shown us the greatest gift of life and love!

Ten tiny fingers and ten tiny toes…

A grandparent’s love you will always know

A little bundle of joy

A sweet little baby girl

An angel in disguise

You made our dreams become real

I thank the lord each day for the joy and love you bring

You are so perfect to us…

We wouldn’t change a thing

A grandparent’s love you will always know

Every day we watch you blossom and grow

We count our lucky stars

Because this is a love you will NEVER outgrow!

My Sister

That girl is so beautiful,
That girl is so smart.
She makes the best decisions,
She is far from a fool.
She knows exactly where she is going
Because she follows her soul
She has made mistakes in the past
But can you blame her for that.
Everyone does it, it's a known fact.
Yeah some were right, that most have surpassed!

The Day You Left

The day you left
I couldn't help but cry
You walked out the door
then said goodbye!

The day you left
I felt hurt inside
I didn't expect this to happen
my feelings cannot hide

The day you left
you didn't look back
I felt so alone
like my life was of track

The day you left, my heart ached
To be without you, i lye in bed awake
Now i think back on the day you left
I finally got over you for good
I am happier now, than ever
Even tho..I nevert thought you would!

The day you left was the best thing for me
i knew it was wrong, don't blame it on me!

You

Just the thought of losing you... I cannot bare.
Sometimes i know you don't believe me
It's like a game of truth or dare.
You have this hard outter shell, just like me.
Long ago it was hard to break
You thought if you let me in that it would of been a mistake
It's like you were so hard to understand, and hard to take.
You let your guard up and those walls were hard to break.

Now the tables have turned... as the years passed by
You have let your feelings show
Somethings said i never thought i'd know.
I don't know why it's so hard for me to let my feelings always show
It's hard for me to just open up
and tell you everything that you want to know.
If there is one thing that i regret...
it's not telling you how i truely felt before
as much as i wanted you to know
You would of thought i was lying
but inside i was really dying...
dying to let you know, yet afraid to let it show.

This Girl

Some may say that she is shy
Others say that she is just afraid
Everyone wonders why,
Why does this girl hide in the shade?
They would leave her alone in her room, alone by herself.
In a world she should feel safe...
She feels nothing but doom.

Everyone continues to just shake their heads
Same flowered dress everyday as she walks home from school.
She goes straight to her room and lyes in her bed.
Holding so much anger at the kids that were cruel.

How would you feel to be this girl?
Locked in a room with nothing to do
Not allowed to say how she really feels...
Not allowed to be that confident girl!

It Is Me

There may come a time when all else fails
and heartbreak startles my mind
I can see right through you now
I know you hurt inside i can tell
When expressions start to show.

I am here to help you out
No one else on earth will do the things i do
No one else will take the time to show you to love yourself
for who you are.

You are not the only one who is hurting oh so bad
Take a good look in the mirror now...
and tell me what you see

My eyes are looking back at me
As i stare constantly
My hands run down the reflection at the face looking back at me
Now do you know who i am referring to?

It is me.... Oh so blue!

Time

Time means so much
You are everything to me
Trust is so hard to give in to
and love can be so easy to let go
They say never say never, and broken hearts come and go
Mending hearts protect our soul.

You may mean the world to me
You may just be my everything.

Trust defines love
I may hold some things back
like i keep feelings hidden and confined
Nothing says forever like time!

A Shattered Dream

Lost in confusion
An unexpected loss
As though the world was my enemy
And nothing seemed to be my destiny

Lost in thoughts
As though I'm lost in confusion
And lost in my life
Like a winding road
Things just wind around me

Lost in dreams
As though I'm lost in sleep
Never wanting to wake again
From a neverending dream
Until it ends finally,
Which I call...
A shattered dream!

Letting You Go

Tears don't show happiness, nor do frowns
Broken hearts lead to open wounds
When you play games with my heart,
You take advantage of my feelings
It tears me apart.
Yet it seems to satisfy you.

If you dont' understand me, how can you relate to my feelings?
It hurts me, and still you don't care
Or seem to notice
There is no love here.

Letting you go, is like losing a part of me
But without happiness...What's left?
Letting you go is maybe the best thing for me!

You Hide

You hide in doubt when things may not always go your way
You hide the way you feel...so it don't seem so real
but that doesn't mean you need to run away

At some point you need to face reality
you have locked your emotions away and hid the key.

You hide in sorrow so Life won't feel so real
because it's sometimes hard to deal.
You try to leave some of your past behind,
Even erasing it from your mind

Some things may have you blaming yourself,
Even though there was just nothing you could of done
You just go with the hand your dealt

You hide what's on your mind so no one will know
You hide what you really want to say because your just too afraid
You will never forget the memories even the one's that haunt you
Yesterday is gone, yet tomorrow is too far away
You are living life for today...but life it too short
Isn't that what they say?
