Rosalyn Lampkin Poem
"I shall be telling this with a sigh." Robert Frost
When I see my mother cry
sometimes I wish I knew why
My mother cries sometime at night
Sometimes she cry just from fright
My mother cries sometimes when ill
The Lord knows her strenght is her will
She might be weak from time to time
She calls on the Lord for peace of mind
My mother cries when she feels pain
The Lord is her staff, strength she gains
Sometimes she cries like a weeping child
Then there are when her cries are very mild
I her my mother pray at night
Sometimes she pray with all her might
She thank the Lord for each new day
and pray for her troubles along the way
No matter the reasons why she cries
The Lord is with her
He is always by her side

Rosalyn Lampkin Poem
You stood on the battlefield
with no man-made weapons
in your hands
You held GOD'S greatest weapon
called FAITH to help you stand
JESUS was your Commander
HE guided you everyday
HE ordered your footsteps
through your PRAYERS and FAITH
My SISTER SOLDIER
you stood proud with
your head held high
You fought the good fight
You fought for your life
My SISTER SOLDIER
you lost the war, but,
your battle was won
You received the highest Medal of Honor
All of us, hope, someday we will earn
Your Medal of Honor is the Key to Heaven
No more battles for you to fight
In Heaven, you have a new body,
a new soul, a new spirit
Your Badge of Courage is
Eternal Life

Rosalyn Lampkin Poem
When you look in the mirror
Who do you see.....
Do you see you or someone
You would like to be
You question yourself
wondering if it's really you
The answer is YES....
The mirror reflects the TRUTH
Looking in the mirror you stare
into your own eyes....
The eyes are the window to the soul
Your eyes never LIE
Again, you question yourself
wondering if it's really you....
And this time, your eyes reveal the TRUTH
The mirror is reflecting your
INNER SOUL....
Looking back at

Rosalyn Lampkin Poem
Do you go to the left?
Do you go to the right?
Do you continue straight ahead?
Do you stand still?
No matter what path you choose
You are at the Crossroads of Life
If you go to the left what will you find?
If you go to the right,
will you have peace of mind?
If you continue straight ahead
will your journey be long?
If you stand still, you might think
your decision is wrong
No matter what decision you make
you are still at the Crossroads of Life
Before you decide which path to choose
ask God to help you
HE is your adviser, with HIM you can't lose
HE is your guiding light when you are at the
Crossroads of Life

Rosalyn Lampkin Poem
GOD is the MASTER
of our Faith
JESUS is the CAPTAIN
of our Soul
When we are sailing
on the Ship of Life
the storms don’t last very long
Our Ship of Life is beaten and worn, but,
with GOD as our MASTER
and JESUS as our CAPTAIN
our Ship of Life keeps sailing on
The storms of life will forever rage on
with GOD watching from above
and JESUS onboard
our Ship of Life
keeps sailing through troubled storms
When our Ship of Life reaches
that distant shore
all of our troubles will be left onboard
because our Ship of Life
will be anchored in GOD'S Mercy
and blessed with JESUS' Love

Rosalyn Lampkin Poem
I had a talk with GOD today
I asked HIM to help those who
are lost and can't find their way
I asked HIM to give strength to
those who are weak
and continue to bless those who are
strong for HIS convenant they keep
I will always pray for others
They are all my spiritual sisters
and brothers
In the name of The Father, The Son
and The Holy Spirit
Let not my words of prayer
fall on deaf ears

Rosalyn Lampkin Poem
I grabbed my fishing pole and all the fishing lures I thought I would need. Now, I’m on my way to fish for my daily meal.
When I got to the waterfront, there were no fish for me to catch. I was disappointed, so I decided to sit down and think.
While sitting there thinking, a man came over to me. He ask, why are you just sitting here with your fishing pole and lures?
I told the man coming here was a big mistake, so, I’m sitting here because there are no fish for me to catch.
The man said follow me, I’ll take you to a place where you can fish, you won’t need your fishing pole or your lures and you won’t have any regrets.
I didn’t understand what he was saying, but I followed him anyway to see what was his plan.
He took me to a place where a crowd of people had gathered. I said to him, there is no water so how can I fish, what can I hope to catch.
I said to myself, I’ll never catch any fish because too may people are here, so now my hope had been totally shattered.
He said listen to what I say, then you will understand why I brought you to this place.
He stood in front of the crowd and he started to speak. His voice was soft and gentle, like sweet honey to a bee.
He spoke of love, kindness, forgiveness and many other wonderful thing. I forgot about wanting to catch fish for me to eat.
He keep talking and I started to understand. He wanted me to fish for lost souls, so I can teach them about God’s holy plan.
I’m no longer a fisherman for creatures of the sea. I am a fisherman for the Lord, that was His ultimate plan for me.

Rosalyn Lampkin Poem
Only you can make me do what is right
Only you can show me the right way to go
Only you can make me who I am
I love you, LORD, I love you
Only you can take away my fears
Only you can give me strength and dry my tears
Only you will keep me throughtout my years
I love you, LORD, I love you
Only you can cleanse my sinful soul
Only you can ease my heavy load
Only you show me that you care
I love you, LORD, I love you
It's coming from my soul LORD
Thank you for all you do
I love you, LORD, LORD, LORD,
I LOVE YOU
