Burnout

Better buckle up, you’ve got to watch and see,
What happens when I push, this button labelled B.

B for a burnout, B to be free,
B to remember how it felt to be three,
No worries, No money, No commitments, No pain,
A button on a lever, a lever on a frame,
A hand to push the button, and a feeling that’s insane.

Burnout of road, drive out your brain,
Let them see what you’ve done, and they’ll soon want the same.

 B for a change, B for a dare,
B to remember how it felt to be there,
No worries, No money, No commitments, No pain,
One button, one escape, one ruler of the lane,
A hand out the window, and a feeling that’s insane.

Ease past the others, laugh at their speed,
Let them see what you’ve done, as you take the lead.

Red Mist

Don’t play games with me,
I’m not in the mood for your words,
It’s your words,
It’s always your words,
Why don’t you stay quiet?
Why don’t you shut up?
Don’t open your mouth ,
If it’s only going to corrupt,
Keep yourself away from everyone,
Stay in the dark if you have to,
If I see your face one more time,
I’ll swear I’ll come after you,
I don’t care what you are,
Or whatever monster you may be,
I am no longer your little boy,
Who you are longing to see.

The Midnight Hour

I’ll be flying, high for you,
I’ll be someone, there for you,
There’s nothing, which I won’t do,
Something tells me, that I love you.

Two birds singing, there for you,
The blue-sky summer, it shines for you,
There’s nothing, which I won’t do,
Something tells me, that I love you.

It’s surreal, I don’t know,
Too much silence, has taken hold,
Strong emotions, I can’t control,
I’m in love,
I can’t let go.

Atlantis

A city is lost,
Reclaimed by the seas,
It’s blinding white marbles,
Now covered in weeds,
A city in peace,
In this world soaked in greed.

A city is lost,
But it’s longing to b found,
Listen to the seas,
And you’ll hear its sound,
Atlantis has awoken,
And it hates what it sees.

Atlantis is rising,
Out of the deep,
Setting the example,
For this world that’s in need,
Forever a symbol of what we used to be,
Atlantis forever,
And forever it shall be.

Probably Maybe

What’s your problem?
You’re running around in circles,
Looking a little lost to me,
You’re walking down the tracks,
On a one way ticket,
You sure are a mystery.

I’ll probably meet you one day,
I’m sure you’ll be heading my way,
Your life is a story,
And maybe I’ll feature,
In one of the ending’s someday.

What’s your problem?
I haven’t been seeing you lately,
I’d sure like to know,
The direction you’re heading,
You’re a part of my history.

I’ll probably meet you one day,
I’m sure you’ll be heading my way,
Your life is a story,
And maybe I’ll feature,
In its nice happy ending someday.

Strange Ways

Did I ever treat you bad?
I don’t believe I did,
So what’s with the behaviour then?
What’s making you so mad?
Are you mentally alright?
Because you’re acting so strange,
It’s like you’ve been possessed,
By a demon who’s deranged.

Shallow Sea

What are you?
If this is me,
We've gone to depth,
In a shallow sea.

Shine the spotlight over me,
But it has no use if we cannot see,
The rocks in the shallows,
The storms in the sea,
They’ll break those apart,
 Who aren’t meant to be.

A beaten conscience,
An endless feud,
This is it,
I’ve tired of shrewd.

A night on a table,
Two people and a flame,
They talk to each other,
But both want the same,
A mutual destruction,
An end to one name.

Goodbye to the shallows,
And hello to the deep,
A single life follows,
And a welcome nights sleep.

Hush!

I’m wondering high,
How high do you go?
These ladders can’t reach,
Where the mortals can’t go,
Perish in the fires,
Drown into the sea,
I am not fussy,
They’ll both do for me,
Knife through the butter,
It glides easily,
And so does a bullet,
As I swing from a tree,
Why do you cry?
You know what I am,
A monster in a movie,
Like an evil masked man,
Dark times are ahead,
The ice burns instead,
Nothing is normal,
When nothing is said.

Incognito

Opinions are split,
There's too much at risk,
Secrets in the night,
How much is one life?
Not sure what to do?
Here, i'll make it for you,
I'll break down the doors,
And fight in the wars,
There's anger inside,
It's too much to hide,
I'm not what you think,
There's a life on the brink,
Better make up your mind,
There's a decision to be made,
And a battle to be played,
Paradise is lost,
Another victim,
Another cost,
Another demonstration of all that we've lost,
Darker nights,
With even darker days,
Hell is a place where everyone pays,
Unleash your brain monster,
and fight to the finish,
Only then will your demons,
And incognito dimish.

Nothing But a Trouble

Everything you told me,
All the lies you fed me,
You’re not the same anymore,
You’re not the person I thought you were,
You’re nothing but a trouble,
A trouble that only I can see,
A trouble that only follows me,
Find another man to fall into your web,
I won’t be trapped no more,
In your endless tales of lies and war,
My heart was nothing more than your prey,
In just another of your “ordinary” days,
You’re nothing but a trouble,
A trouble that will no longer follow me.
