The Ocean

as i stear deeply into your eyes, i begin to drown.
your mind is open, heart is deep, your love is wet.
beautiful as the ocean sunset reflecting the waters.
the satisfaction knowing the limits i can go with you are none.
for that no telling how long this journery may last.
as i get ready to set sail, i grab upon your hand to ensure your at comfort.
sailling from late evening all through the night.
stars shining that keeps the sky lite up while your reaching up to the angels.
you begin to scream seductively as the boat rocks gently a steady movement.
no waves has yet to arrive, the ride has only began.
slow motion slow pace but oh so passionately.
you ask if ill deep sea dive, with no hesitation I go head first.
enjoying the sensory, heaven down below.
hell is above, our sins are sexual, the love is forgettable.
our bodies moving more then ever before, the waves are approaching.
as I aboard, drop the anchor you start to climax this ocean aint never felt so good.
im in you, you in the moment as the night is falling.
the sun is rising our sexual peaks are arriving.
I hold you close and look deep into your eyes once more.
as I say your love was the ocean, it was open, it was deep it was wet.
it was something to remember.

Brother To Brother -Prayer

The sun has set, the day laid to rest. As I pray before I lay, I pray of more days. I pray God protect you from your enemies. Shall the day come we must ride on them, I pray for protection. For victory may rise above all. Never fall short of the commitment. Never separate over women, they come and they go. We're forever. My brother let's pray repeat after me. I am your brother I who share the same blood. I'm the one to count on when others are uncounted for. To be there from the highs to the lows. Love till death calls upon us. Show each other right from wrong. Stand side by side, when wrong is in play. I'll hold you down when nobody else will hold you up, i ask the same. I pray we've the courage to be strong when weak is calling, the courage to be smart when stupidity is following. I pray through wealth and health our bond remains unbreakable. Brother to brother, i pray amen.

One Pen

All i need is one pen, one piece of paper just one.

To write the pain a deff
man can't hear speak what a blind can't see. Uncover the truth and hide the lies we tells as a society.

All i need is one pen, one piece of paper just one.

Get the word out to the
ghetto that there is a
better place. We don't
have to reach heaven
to see it. We killing our
brothers and sisters over
colors don't make sense.

All i need is one pen, one piece of paper just one.

To tell my brothers behind bars a strong body has no comparsion to a weak mind. Do time don't let time do you.

All i need is one pen, one piece of a paper just one.

Send all the women with children a happy day mothers day letter, even if it aint may.

All i need is one pen, one piece of paper just one.

One shot of that liquor thats infecting my liver but only way ill spill out all these words. Sober thoughts i could only speak intoxicated. One doctor for a liver-transplate if this one shall fail on me.

All i need is one pen, one piece of paper just one.

One chance to reach for the stars and pull one down. Show the world no task is impossible to accomplish. Stay motivated stay determined no telling what you can achieve.

All i need is one pen, one piece of paper just one.

One voice one prayer to ask God to forgive you and i for our sins. See none of us is perfect and this world aint either.

All i need is one pen, one piece of paper just one.

One pen to bleed on that one piece of paper just one so one soul can finally be let free. show others many ways you paint without a brush.

All i need is one pen, one piece of paper just one.

To read my motivational speech to the men and women serving our country. May i give them strenght to come back home to their love ones.

all I need is one pen, one piece of paper just one.

One man hating, one woman loving me. One whip no chains im so free.

All i need is one pen, one piece of paper just one.

Success wouldn't mean much if i couldn't write about it.

Nothing in this world is more important than one pen one piece of paper. thats all i need just one.

I Am

i am, a son brother uncle a nephew. i am, a writer in poetry form. a undiscovered author. i am, a lover far from a fighther despite those beliefs i fight for. i am, a sinner but i am not the devil. i am, the old soul who speaks within this young boby. i am, my greatest enemy i who know the weak spots. i am, the inspiration that inspires others who inspires others. i am, the the star shining alone. i am, the one you dont regret nor forget. i am, who i am because yesterday struggles did not break me. i am, a artist my stories paint wallet images get the big picture. i am, a dreamer. if i dream too much i'll lose touch with reality. i am, a boy if i can't die a man let me live till i can. i am, Marquis Turner.

Just a Thought

Insecurities come from not being at comfort with one self.
We try to fit in where we dont, love who doesnt love us.
Hide who we are to become something we can't.
When in actually reality being yourself is gratiflying.
It gives us our own overview on life.
Let us picture the world for what it is and not what it seems.

Before Our Journey

I want to explore you, mentally. Touch on all your inner thoughts Pich your desires well as fears.

Hit every element of emotions.scratch the
surface on what makes you cry and smile.
Girl im tryin to get to know you from the
inside and out.

Count your every heart beat
to every eye lash on your left eye.
Swim around in your love and see
if its as deep as the words i speak.
lie there nakey enjoying your every
aspect but not once do i touch.

I rather lay there engaging in conversations
that set your soul free and your mind
wonder why i not once kissed your
naked body slowly and passionately.

interested in more of your mental
intellect, then your sexual talents.
well at least before our journey.

I wanna be your friend long enough to
where you call me your bestfriend. Then
become lovers and then let our story begin.

But first, im gone escape into your world.
just to get lost to find who you really are.

And when that sun has rised for us ill know you better then a mother knows her own child.

Before our journey.

Chanel's Story

Chanel was young only thirteen years of age.
He was twentyone when he said, i love you Chanel.

She didn't know what that meant but soon found out.
He told her love hurts right before he beat her.

The he use to sex her. Physically and mentally abused her.
Thought he was the one, turn out he was just the one to use her.

Young girl with a little money.
Use to steal from her mother, whille she high off drugs.

Pops wasn't in the picture. Then again most men ain't.
Now she in the mirrior taking pictures of her oversized belly.

Four weeks late. Contemplating on how to tell him.
Told him, she missed her period like a run sentence.

Immediately replied "it ain't mines, leave me alone".
Typical response when a young male ain't ready.

Tears are falling at this pouint, suicide crossed her mind.
Now she's overdosing on plan b pills. This is Chanel's story.

Dance

Strange eyes stare as look back
nervously heart beating
outrageously.
I close my eyes just for a pinch
second as i gain composer.
And the music comes into que
softly.
My inner thoughts tell i, my moment
is now dance like nobody is
watching.
I move left to right, right to left.
Moving my hips while I throw my
hands up.
Spinning in circles moving across
the stage with a steady eye contact
to my audience.
While they're watching my footwork
and i'm praying i dont lose my
footing.
Sweat dripping as i pour my heart
out on this stage only hopefully for
a great applaud.
So i dance, dance and dance like it's
nobody business.
Like i'm home in the mirror practing
for my big day, when the spot light
is shinning on me.
For once i'm the only star who shine
will be seen.
Expressing myself through these
turns and twists, letting go of
yesterday troubles.
Because when i dance, i dance the
only thing that matters in the world.
So as I spin, twist, move my hips
side to side, and wave my hands I'm
just doing what love the most
dance.

Dedicated to a friend of my Jasmyne
Clark, may your dreams come true.
