Tangere Larbou Poem
Phil was a philatelist.
And he gave out a stamp quite rare,
To family and friends, his philanthropy knew no ends
But that was not the affair,
For Phil was also a philanderer,
He dated Phylis every second night,
But what caused the distress was his wife caught the mistress
And so Phil ended up in a terrible fight.
Phils family and friends were furious,
Yet Phil was not contrite
He played his game without any shame
Guess who will be sleeping alone tonight
So the philosophy of this story
If indeed there is one I could advocate
Would be try to become a philologist
Or like Phil you might get an ending you didn’t prognosticate
