Fearless is the busker
Who sings and plays guitar
Relaxing and melodic
En route to be a star.
An effortless performance
Such quality on display
The ambience uplifting
To brighten up this day.
Shoppers stop and listen
To tunes they hold so dear
The charming friendly busker
Whose talent is so clear.

Buzz Buzz

A ball of stripey fluff
The most delicate of wings
Tiny little legs
And very potent stings.

Pollinating flowers
Flying wild and free
Collecting lots of nectar
The striking bumble bee.

I see her in my minds eye
A picture of strength and stability
Just like a sturdy oak
Unwavering steadfast
Nurturing and resolute
But beware...
Even a sturdy oak
When exposed to enough storms
Will get pushed and pulled
In all directions
Suffering damage
And growing weaker
It may still stand
But as a shadow
Of its former self.
