Patricia Robinson Poem
THE THOUGHTS I’M THINKING
THOUGHT AND SOUND MOVING AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT
ONE THOUGHT TO THE NEXT
SILENCE RESTING SOFTLY
IN BETWEEN
HOLDING ITS OWN EMOTIONAL SPACE
WHEN
WORDS CANNOT CLOSE THE DISTANCE
APPLY EMOTION
THAT THOUGHT NOW HAS FEELING
BEING SO INCLINED TO MOVE WITH THOUGHT
FROM ACTION TO REACTION
INEVITABLE
EXPRESSIVE THOUGHTS
CLOSED IN SILENCE
CAN’T CLOSE THE DISTANCE
IF WORDS HAS NO VOICE
THE THOUGHTS I’M THINKING
SAYS
JUST BE SILENT
AND KEEP IT MOVING
ON TO THE NEXT THOUGHT
I’M THINKING

Patricia Robinson Poem
Sympatico dreaming
I wonder do you keep the stars
Awake at night
While dancing in the shadows
By moonlight
Seducing the wind
With sensuous rhythms
To help keep you
in flight
The sound of your breathing
Covers the air in whispers
Changing
Water into wetness
With
Fluid dreams of
Your hidden desires
Coming down like
Thunder and lighting
While flying through the air
In the pouring rain
Wearing your halo on
backwards
Sliding under the cover
Of darkness
Nimble fingers like
The wings of a feather
Drawing circles around
The psyche that leaves a
Train of thought back
To you
I wonder do you keep the stars
Awake at night
Dancing in the shadows
By moonlight
Peeking in on other
Realms in existence
Free falling like you
Mastered
Quantum physics
The ability to come and
Go as you please
Stardusted memories
Not founded in reality
But held captive and
Suspended
weightless
Floating on
Dreams and sympathy
Only to face the morning
And nothing is as it seems
Just a vague sense of you
Flying with wings
I wonder do you keep
The stars awake at night
While dancing in the
Shadows
By moonlight

Patricia Robinson Poem
My Personal loneliness
To much of my personality to content with
The sum of me splattered across these pages
of life
With all its additions,subtractions,and divisions
Some days I'm laid bare
like an open wound
with ragged edges
from my mind
sifting through mental scars
I thought were healed from some time ago
Going through life constantly
changing the bandages
until this screaming pain
now becomes a dull ache
That I can live with

Patricia Robinson Poem
BLOODSHED
HIS BLACK LIFE ON CANVAS
HIS BLACK LIFE ON PAPER
PAINTED BLACK AND RED
8
I TRIED HARD NOT TO LET
THE RED LIFE’S BLOOD SPILL
OFF THE CANVAS
8
I WANTED
TO PUT IT BACK IN HIS BODY
AND MAKE HIM WHOLE AGAIN
8
TRY TO RECONNECT WHAT WAS
LOST FOR HIS BRIEF TIME HERE
8
SO MUCH BLOOD SHED HIS LIFE
GONE GONE TOO SOON
8
WANT TO HEAL ALL HIS WOUNDS
FOR THE MOTHERS AND FATHERS
THAT HAVE LOST ONE
8
WHO CAN’T PICK UP THE PIECES
AND START AGAIN
8
I TRIED HARD NOT TO LET
THE RED LIFE’S BLOOD SPILL
OFF THE CANVAS
8
I WANTED
TO PUT IT BACK IN HIS BODY
AND MAKE HIM WHOLE AGAIN
