Snowflurries Swirl
Snow falls inside the glass globe:
A swimming, swirling vision
Where four youngsters pose frozen
In their run to leap to a win
For the longest sliding glide
Along an icy, country road
Where no traffic flows;
Near a row of evergreens
that do not grow;
Overseen by a pair of pinpoint specks
for the black, button eyes on
that morning’s made snowman;
And from across an ever-white yard,
In front of a tiny, stone cabin,
Stand some adults, bundled up
To guard against freezing in flying snow —
All huddled together with arms raised
And their painted mouths wide open
In mid-cheer, “Go! Go!”
So loud…So excitedly set to see
Their youngsters, who will not age,
Leap and slide into a race
That has no distance and no winner
— Over ice that does not melt…
All figured to be a vision of some
Heartwarming winter life
That will not end.

Thanks be to God——-
Having journeyed through North, South, East, and West,
Witnessed the spirit of young souls at their best,
A psyche befreed from detest,
Unmatched souls amidst the rest.
Their zeal be fierce and pugnacious,
They support and uplift, becoming audacious,
In times of turbulent, they unite, gracious
To create a world where hope has firm ground.
We truly seek, without a doubt,
The untamed spirit of the young, devout,
Their free soul, chasing away any shroud,
For a brighter future, they staunchly vow.
From paper bags to plastic bags
From manual cars to automatic cars
From telephones to handphones
But in the political world
The world stays stagnant
For just a split second
The youngsters who are the future hosts
Never take concern
And emerge to take over any responsibilities
We see oldies who are leaving sooner or later
Taking concern of everything
The youngsters still got many years to go
Sure they aren't willing to face
A future world of chaos and poverty
When old friends meet
Happiness crawls in
As we are once again together
When old friends meet
Sadness slips in
As time has cheated us
It was a long long time before we meet again
Before we are youngsters, now oldies
As the world has cheated us too
It was a long long struggle before we meet again
Before we are innocent twenties, now sophisticated sixties

I feel bad for what I did to you,
It wasn't a plan to hurt you so.
I didn't mean to make you hurt,
I didn't want to, I'm worse than dirt.
I don't know why I cheated on you,
the girl was random, I had no mood.
I am a youngster, please forgive me,
cause only with you I want to be with.
