Premium Member Dont Withhold Good From Your Neighbor

The sugar bowl proverbial.
The sweetness of sharing
what you have; a tight hug.

Don’t share the leaves,
in your own yard, nor the weeds.
Don’t rush a neighbor’s demise.

Don’t overstay;
time is valuable -
boundaries sans fence.

A good neighbor is not perfect,
are you? Jesus tells us, true,
“Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Don’t be greedy with your smile,
your wave - it can be a pick-me-up,
same as coffee to the drowsy.

You may miss
the borrowed book, leaf blower, eggs
but your countenance glows from the inside-out.

Bottom line:
be a good neighbor;
neighborly advice.

When it is in your power,
don’t withhold good from the one to whom it belongs.
Don’t say to your neighbor, “Go away! Come back later.
I’ll give it tomorrow “ — when it is there with you.
Don’t plan any harm against your neighbor,
for he trusts you and lives near you.

Dare Not Withhold This

After the gun smoke and fires die down;
and the cries of sacrifice,
for liberty,
are buried in the blood soaked ground
Will there be sugar after the rebellion?

The taste of sweet liberty comes at a bitter cost
Dare not withhold this price paid,
with the heavy sprinkling of so many lives lost

How many scarlet lumps of violent persuasion
does the holder of the turn key need?
How many spoonful of crimson bleed
must be vehemently poured in their cup of tea?
Will there be sugar after the rebellion?

Peaceful resolution is a refined process,
graciously distilled
by the pure sterling-hearted best

Dare not withhold this tear blessed occasion
from firmament happening
Let it be pulse poured generously,
the sweet crystalline nature of peace

So it must be joyously asked,
will there be angel cake served at the freedom celebration?

Premium Member The Lord, the Lord Will Withhold No Good Thing From Us, From Those Who Do What Is Right-

For the LORD God
He is our sun
And my God, my God is my shield.
He gives us grace
He gives me grace
Just in the righteousness
And space
 and glory
and glory
glory
He gives me/us glory
Mercy
For evermore

The LORD, the Lord will withhold no good thing
From us, from those who do what is right?
So just hold on
Hold on
And be committed and strong
(Hold on)

His righteousness
His space, grace
His glory
and glory
His glory
He gives me/us glory
Mercy
For evermore

From us, as long as we repent
We shall be forgiven our sins Yes, and we who do what is right?
So just hold on
Hold on
And be committed and strong
(Hold on)
He gives us grace
He gives me grace
Just in the righteousness
And space
and glory
and glory
The LORD, our Lord will withhold no good thing
His glory
He gives me/us glory
Mercy
For evermore

Premium Member Withhold: Part Two

and yet you swear that I am hiding from me
from you
raw
let me lay under this apple tree
broken
in peace
free
surrounded my clouds of sunshine
restless
i promised to love all your imperfections
brave
withholding nothing
feminine

Premium Member Withhold: Part One

I am broken
comprised of raw experience
a love for you
that forces my hand
and makes me vulnerable, too
subdued
saturated
fatigued
and infatuated
by a love for you
my brokenness
the broken bones
and this broken being
and if my broken body
does not suffice
then - complete me
solve the mystery
that is me
fill her
make her whole
fill her again, and again
again, and again
she's desperate
arguably senseless
yet -
withholding
nothing

Withhold the Day - Shakespearian Sonnet

Give me your sweet lips so soft I beg you.
Again let me hold you this night in my
arms telling you that life for me is new
since thy soft whisper gave first little sigh.

Your fingers play a tune on me that drives
a wondrous feeling deep within I can’t hide.
Couldst we but hold this time throughout our lives
a never ending pleasure by your side

Tomorrow’s day advances like a thief
to steal away your close embrace from me.
But I do know our separation’s brief
Again with you as my new life should be.

Lips sweet and gentle fingers they do play
a loving tune that cries withhold the day.

Beauty You Withhold

I see your eyes like stars from the sky.
I paint you with the colors of Beauty.
I challenge the shadows that chase you.
I see past the shield your heart may hold.

Conquering your heart is my goal.
Success never leaves me alone.
Loving you is what this heart withholds.
True love for you is what carries my soul.

Beating the odds for you is easy task to me.
Passion burns like fire in my chest.
Your the world to me and everything else.
Loving you is the best addiction and my destiny
