Premium Member Never Be Blue If You Can Be Cyan

I have to ask of my good friend Jan
who lives far away on the isle of man
why on earth you went for a silly brain scan?
I would like to know what's up, what's the plan?
Is it to prove once and for all
that women are superior and smarter than man?
surely if true, all the blondes will fast become fans
however if correct, you can no longer call me Sam
you'll have to call me Sandra now, or I wont give a dam
come to think of it, I am so smart I might become tran
if you think I am funny, I am, I am Borat from Kazakhstan

I am, I am, I am Sandra not Sam

Premium Member They Are Trans

Dapper Dorothy pushes the envelope to the edge of the canyon
she should know better
being from a small town in the Midwest
Some of the meaner hicks say

She is trans someone whispers
What is that?
Pan? Tran? Slam? Sham?
Some of the relatives laugh

Not understanding how it feels
to be a little boy born in a girl’s body
To be sad every time he has to go to the girl’s side
Wearing panties when all he wants is boxers

There are no other trans in our town.of three hundred and two
Maybe and probably there have never been.
I look at Dapper Dorothy’s clothes and marvel
Glad he is finally honoring himself with beautiful men’s clothes

it doesn’t bring me profits

from any competition
why not play with words?

play with words for fun
not for any damned profits

writing poetry
not give birth to a baby
please don't push too hard

5- Poetry & Work
wanna write or not
it's freedom of poetry
not for a living

6 -Poetry & Merry-go-round
why care how it sounds?
why worry what people think?
on merry-go-round

7- Poetry & Writing Bloc
why do I not chop
my writing block to pieces
sharp japanese swords

8- Back to Poetry and Me
I take a good break
go with the flow of the day

O, Dear Lord
Give me the
strength for
today, give
me courage
for this day
let only tran
quility leave my lips and let only serenity dwell in my heart
Lord help me to accept the past, the present and the future
and help me to surrender all my past fragmented memories
all my grief, and sorrow, and regret and failures, let me put
it all in your
arms, so I
can let go
thank you
for being
a rock and
anchor and
holding my
hand when
I whisper
I am afraid
carrying me
when I am
broken and
nothing can
destroy my
faith in you
oh see my
tears Lord
these are,
my, falling
tears, tears

Pine, Turtoise and Crane

The pine tree stands straight in the clouds,
For it is ashamed of any curves and bends.
Various wild vines do not concede defeat,
They cling and climb to the top to compete.
Autumn flowers are in bright purple and red,
Charming and beautiful like brocades spread.
Neither humble nor pushy the pine stays calm
And let the sunbeams poke through its palm.
Seeing that the cypress spits out seeds to imitate
And the crane humbly shrinks its neck to vacate,
The pines are anything but splendid eye-catcher
Can it deserve "the three friends in a cold winter"?
The tortoise and the crane both enjoy longevity,
But their appearances are of different variety.
They both are wise and have the same ends,
Despite different shapes they become friends.
The crane has a dream of soaring into the sky,
While a comfortable life the tortoise does deny.
Thus they each bite one end of a bamboo stick.
The crane flies with the tortoise to clouds thick.
But it cautions the tortoise and says “Silence,
Otherwise you may fall to the ground at once.”

Change

Reading your two quatrains of mourning the deceased friend,
I compose this short poem to express my sadness with no end.
In vain I sigh over the diminishing of our friends in this world,
To the anthology more and more funeral orations are added.
New leaves in the wood urge the old ones to fall downward,
Back waves in the river always push the front waves forward.
Since ancient times, law of old and new remains unchanged,
What we can do is to shed tears for our good friends departed.

(Tran.)

Wuyi Alley

Beside the Zhuque Bridge wild flowers bloom lonely,
On the Wuyi Alley the setting sun beams serenely.
The swallows that once nested in halls of the noble,
Have now flown into the simple homes of the humble.
(tran.)

The Caged Parrot

The bird’s voice still sounds charming,
Though caged, it never stops dreaming.
As human language it once understood,
It has lost freedom of living in the wood.

(Tran.)

Inscription On the Wall of Flower Mountain Temple

The temple is named after the Flower Mountain,
Yet no flowers are seen and weeds are overgrown.
Planting and weeding must be on the routine list ,
For fair flowers are brief while weeds grow fast.

(tran.)

Bright Moon

The bright moon hangs high in chilly skies,
People say everybody can see it with eyes.
How do you know that a thousand miles away,
There aren’t any rain and wind underway?
(tran.)

Decayed Flowers

Flowers were seen covering the tree yesterday,
Today they have fallen into the pond in decay.
The hard blow of the east wind is not to blame,
Blooming and withering are naturally the same.
(tran.)

Fallen Flower

The setting sun is blocked by the parting grief,
Yet, I’m glad to head for remote world in relief.
As decayed fallen flowers are not ruthless stuff,
They turn into earth to make darling buds tough.
(tran.)

Missing You

Compared with vast sea, water from elsewhere is nothing,
And only the clouds of Wushan are true clouds touching.
I don‘t even have the mood to look at the flowers in view,
Partly because of practicing Taoism and partly of you.
(Tran.)
