Late one star-crossed summer's night
when I'd had more than enough
and only just in case
I was packing all my hard-won stuff
accumulated over more than several years
up to my ears there was indeed a lot of it
squashing jamming squeezing cramming
all in all a quite tight fit
as my entire worldly goods left in a taxi with me
something I now would like to know
who came up with the cliché and said,
'You can't take it with you when you go.'
Squashing Sasquatch sounds squeamish said Silly Sally...
When Shelley Sheen said she'd seen Sasquatch squashed

gaunt garden growling
girded in hankering
rustic roses moaning
rumbles roasting sydneys
fiery figs fostering
damped daffodils smirking
felon fashion fiddling
with nocturnal nimbling
nature nasty puking
airy atmosphere hoisting
callous surges lurching
voluptuous vines squashing
it's our garden
whooshing wind's warden.

================================
I have a feeling I cant shake...
I know not of it what to make.
I'm certain someone else is here
and this idea keeps me awake.
I first make sure the shelves are clear,
then, into every corner peer.
If someone HAS been watching me,
then I shall catch the buccaneer!
How IS he managing to flee?
He's stealthy. Or, perhaps he's wee..?
And when he runs, where does he go?
How can I catch what I can't see?
The finest victories come slow.
I've cornered (finally!) my foe
and met my uninvited guest,
now let me introduce my TOE!
