New tomahawk in his hand,
Earns his Brave feathers.

War Cry
War Cries going up and down
through the valley of death
and the trail of tears all around

A golden eagle flies overhead
as each of his warriors return to
their bedsnn

He is a chief, a leader of man
and the future of a tribe that will one
day be Custer’s Last Stand...

Anxiety
heart pounding in chest sounding like a war drum in times of duress
wanting wishing for it to stop
to be fearless
crying out help help help me please
agony a wounded animal
drums beating again and again the tune a familiar one
you fight and give a war cry yet the war never end
but never give up...

Premium Member Prayer or war cry
As the pastor delivers his speech
and religious fervour peaks,
our heart goes out to those marginalised,
for pale now are their fear fraught cheeks.

In the name of God, gathering a crowd,
witch-hunting the downtrodden and meek,
crass and callous is the cacophonic din,
shrouding love and light, each of us seek....

Petrified
Lost in a cocoon of my design
I stare into the dark
My eye wary of teary drops

Nightly clouds clad together
Floating in the ocean above
Raise a war cry of thunder

A reminder of another world
Another existence I couldn't fathom
Silently, fear crept up

Man the pawn, X the player
Pawns die with each move
But no, not this time...

War Cry
I did not raise a son
to die alone
on Flanders field,
his precious life to yield.

I raised a son
to grow in stature,
to stand, mature
at life's rich threshold

not to die
amid spent bullets.
I raised a son
to outlive me

not to be
one of a thousand
faceless heroes
fallen in a foreign land

I raised my son
to grow into a man....

I Cry
For those who have served
and died for our freedom
I cry.

For those who's families
have suffered a lose
I cry.

For those who left
thier children alone
I cry.

For those who lost
thier mothers, fathers,
sons and daughters
I cry.

As I salute you for your bravery
tears I will cry from sorrow
You shall never be forgotten
for tears I will cry tomorrow....

When There Was No Fight Left
When he began to battle on his own,
he started turning stronger
but his fury got louder than a war cry.
When he had his wings cut,
he made sure there is no one
to wallow for him in sorrow.
When he would be buried,
he needed to be seen strong
never having shown that he is vulnerable.
The end began
when there was no fight left,
he was knees deep in hell already....

Ninja duck had a powerful war cry.
More than a quack, it sounded like “Die!”
How did you become a ninja, and truly why?
He said it came to me naturally bye and bye.

Ninja duck could do maneuvers and moves on you.
That would change your attitude, turn you black and blue.
I stay out of his way when he puts his outfit on.
He is challenging someone right now, down on a summer’s pond....

World's troubles reflected in a dark sky
Days and nights now blurred fears quantify
My ears pick up artillery in war cry
Depression rolls in I try to deny
All my thoughts grow befuddled I belie
Tears held in so many puddles I cry
Emotions all muddled up in deep sighs
My eyes hollow my heart beats amplify
On divine intervention I rely!

Cessation
Tinted colors of old
Debauched, dubious mysteries
Finagled corrupt's gold
A glorious, poignant history

An empty throne,
And tales of skirmish
Standing draped in gold, all alone
A war cry and a death wish

Glorious structures,
Secluded with pride
Curtained with greed and power
A broken ruling mind

Sky turning grey
Chains broken for freedom
Nobility burned like hay
End of the golden demon.

War Poem
The noises of the war cry in my ears

Suddenly I remember all of my fears

A man yells next to me, “Grenade, Grenade!”

As I run, I wish I were home drinking the sweet, sweet taste of Lemonade

Oh, I hope I do not die

I do not wish to see my family cry

As a man is shot down next to me

I think, “When will the war get me?”

As I fight for America, The brave, strong, and true

Thousands are dying for the Red, White, and Blue...

All We Do Is Fight
You scream

I scream

I walk away

You stay away

You beg

You plead

I cry and wither

I lay in bed

and think- why does this keep happening

I soak my pillow

You appear

I shoo you away

You stomp and cause my heart to stop

You simply walk away

I cry some more

I fall asleep

I wake

I remember

I go to you

I climb in bed

I curl close

and kiss your lips

I never want to let go, or be let go of

All is well

All is good, till we fight again...

Flirting
Half-mooned I have left the envy.
The basic instinct of lesser love
for my failing god.

Come to me, my cloaked enemy,
a sweet lover of pain
in the milky hours.

Mother of seeds was far away
and you wanted to suck on the
pollen from the wings of honeybees.

Soft and cruel, I cannot leave you
nor I can abandon the post.
The war cry was coming nearer.

Was it a virginal drink to –
placate the lips of a flame ?
Time will never know the ultimate.

Iraq
how dare you send him
send him to die for YOU?
do you even know his name
his age his race do you HUH
if his name is read off of some paper
for some tribute to the dead soldiers
you gonna have a bullet with your name on it
how dare you not listen to the rhymes that
drop like bombs in vietnam
i fear with him
its gonna be just like armagedon
SHALL I GO ON?
i cry out among the young
and we cry out to jesus
family in iraq and you all
dont seem to see us
BRING MY BROTHER HOME...

In Asylum
It heaves you up;
too antsy to stay
on the waves,
inheriting the power-
dynamics of deemed palaces.

Channeling the inner Gandhi
or Buddha to reincarnate
the fragrance of past. Could
have become a golden
era again.

The fraud ! Everthing was
created by a mockingbird.
Are you sure there
was a war cry between
the insects ?

You remind me of ugly
dads fathering a new generation
of unborn myths.Thousands of
witnesses will keep their
eyes shut.
