Gulf Oil Spill !
Man to blame,
Once again to his shame,
His record continues to destroy !

The beauty he did not create, nor can he save…
He will never learn how to properly behave…

Nature screams pointlessly once again ?
Fearing where next we’ll drill ?
Gulf oil spill....

She Knows - Senryu
My tears dry quickly,
on this sultry summer night,
she can't see me cry.

I sob silently,
in the stillness of the night,
she can't hear me cry.

My words, now unread,
are just pointlessly written,
she can't feel me cry.

Though somewhere inside,
she feels a pang of sadness,
and she knows I cry....

What Happens
What happens?
When hell freezes over,
Pigs fly,
And it hails in Southern Cal?
What happens?
When time stops,
But life resumes,
And we live pointlessly?
What happens?
When faith crumbles,
With buildings,
And Friendship?
What happens?
What happens?
What happens?
Nothing but reiteration,
My love remains,
And will always remain,
Indestructible it is....

Sky Hooks Hang Themselves
Will the sky topple inward
or the hills heap upwards
it I do not make these symbols
upon a snow-white field?

Will a poet turn to stone
before my eyes
or will a jackdaw caw
pointlessly into a gale?

And now the thin thread
thickens
becomes a full gutted snake
laying across a dusty road

or is it a rope
knotted and curling
as obtuse as any
imponderable script?...

I Missed My Exit
I missed my exit,
I drove too far,
Now I don't
know where we are...

Seems like I do this
All the time,
Drive pointlessly
A scout's greatest crime...

I'm try'in hard
To get to you,
But it seems,
No matter,
What I do....

I get lost along,
The path of life,
I want so much,
You to be my wife...

So, hold on,
I'll get there,
How long it takes,
I don't care...

My chance has come,
Won't let it slip by again,
If I do,
I'm the most stupid of men....

Pointlessly Beautiful Things
Pointlessly Beautiful Things
I caught a rainbow fish,

then i went inside,

and baked a pizza pie dish.

The goth girl loves to laugh at your pain,

but the English gentleman ,

loves to laugh at the rain.

Dreaming with your eyes wide open,

would be man,s greatest achievement,

right next to chicken flavored ice cream,

Snow angels in the time of Spring,

of all of my rhymes,

this is the most pointlessly beautiful thing...

Your Angel
I am your angel, daddy's little girl.
I know I haven't been my best in cold, shallow world.
But I listen to you most of the time, your lessons and such; and when I don't listen, I suffer
very much.
You don't give me signs when I'm going the right way.
So How can I make you proud of me?
I know I've done so wrong by not just following you; suffering pointlessly.
Either way I love you Father, with my everything.
I am your angel, will I ever earn my wings.

written in 2005...
