Changed
Silence has become my music
With a static dance around mystery
As silver lining was replace by ashes
Blue sky wear rainbow
Ornament of man made beauty
My sight caught a former melanin dark...

Glory In Colour
Shiny melanin
so incredible
brown goddess divine
tender, shy, happy
African and true.
She’s beautiful
adorable
queen of all queens
nature’s glory.
Fountains’ glow
rainbow’s might
she’s just all.
Finest
prettiest

So I Fell In Love With a Midnight Poetess
=====. =========. ========
So, I fell in love with a midnight poetess
Golden like the sun
Smooth melanin africanly baked
Her heart is the nest where I find my rest
Her lips fountain of words that quench my thirst
So, I fell in love with a midnight poetess
Lying in the Sahara golden as its sand...

Arent We Fools
a tiny water drop in light
reflections of love
refractions of hatred
dispersion of rage
rain bow in your
heart
you are a phenomenon
e=mc2
illuminate droplets
we only see incomplete
optical illusion viewed
from a relative angle
melanin is the primarydivision
arent we fools

Cold Rains Wash Melanin
Cold Rains Wash Melanin
Mix
Spectrum
Get pure white
Color of peace
Touch of true bliss
Takes you on autumn cloud
Drifts to the grey horizon
Splits in VIBGYOR of the rainbow
Cold rains wash the melanin away
Sky loses colors becomes blank as white.

Black Me Back
Im black im black
I don't melanin lack
Tribe begotten by sun
Heathed and fully done
I might be brown by fraud
But Inside im black and proud
A race that tamed hyenas
Riding them around like cotinas
Reared owls as fowls
Before our black wisdom was foiled
Black me back if i bleach it
Its my identity, to my heart stitch it....

Ode To Bara
Journey man
Chef of Choral cuisine
Sunset at Dusk
Drained of Melanin
A voice heard across generations
Stilled in immirimious waters
Strange silence
As hearts fearfully flutter
What deafening silence is this?
An iroko has communed with the grass
Chills crawl up macho spines
This Hero here has joined eternal climes
Adieu, brother
Adieu, Bara....

Skin
Pigmentation, melanin
Epidermis covering
Different colours, freckles too
All the above is all of you
Virgin born from the womb
Wrinkled, will smooth out soon
In life it serves, protects us all
From many an impending fall
Traumas, bruises eventual scars
From falling down, or life's wars
So hail this special covering
Its our body canvas
We are in....

Black Monday
Maybe not today or tomorrow, but one day!
The rain will wash my melanin away, black Monday
All we inherit is mortgages & curses
Cheap labor has become my purpose
Not today, because I woke up feeling rather hopeless
Does the lord care,my prayers seem so worthless
Life in the village , life in the wilderness
Not the same words some say, but today
has been an awful black Monday!...

White Face
Mirror mirror, who do I see?
Thank you my camera, the lighter the better
Photoshop at its best, my dear speciality, I didn't even go to school for it
Dencia would be proud of me, no more melanin
All more whitenicious
Vera Sidika may need to up her game, competition never felt so good
A little cream here, a smaller pill daily
A lot more injections, yes!
Peel me away, brighter everyday...

Homeostasis
Without her love
I am
supine and catatonic
resting energy
E=mc2
squared
Mantra of melanin
black and white
we blend together
The consequence
of making love
is Olympism
Proverbial softness
sensibility and discernment
our internal systems burn
when I kiss her dark skin
Force of body
strength of reason
together we balance
When we unite
we are
perpetual
a complete
human being
an erotic
explosion of light......

My Queen
Her beauty ever blossoming
Heart so cold still she warms me
Beams as the sun and moon
I await to see you soon
Peculiar nature
In love with every second of her torture
Her beautiful elegance
Eyes of magnificence
Lips so pure and intense
Melanin dark and unruly
Glimmers of hope truly
Her perfect imperfections she sings
But love to me she brings
Do not toss your crown
Bless me with your loveliness in sound......

Black Friday
Black, black
Born black
Head to toe black
Back black, side black, cock black
Every inch black
Midnight without a star,
Black Friday, black Saturday, every day black male
Black out from home
Black in the pen
Ba, ba, black sheep off the streets
Whack, whack stocked against black Jack
Black hair, black beard
Pirate, attack black
Rat-a-tat, payback
Skin shine, melanin design, black Knight
Black Friday night...

Choices
The melanin in my skin
Offend you
I ask why
Is there an answer
That could overshadow
The ignorant through
You let consume you
within your mind
Its sicking energy
Cold-hearted
A devil thought
To drag you to the darkness of hate
The difference can offend you
To compares people and things
Love can heal you
With understanding
There to side to every thought
It is the choice to live in the hate
Then to understand with love...

The Raven
The Raven
Black pigmented ink
Circle my frame
Charcoal
My melanin
Fierce as the raven
Perched upon a housetop
In its black attire
Regal and justified
Jet as ebony,
Timber from a tropical tree
Molasses is my honey
I knead with the night
And scare the limited of mind
More precious than the Tahitian pearl
A lantern at midnight
My soil shall keep my garden
Fruitful and multiplied

Black
BLACK.
My shadow bask in bliss
Paid dues of past life synchyses
Diamonds on melanin doesn't connote asking amiss
Just like the lips asking for a kiss,
Spread o'er and so is this
Art engineered on the instrumentality of black pen,
Its a race no man will see it end.
Black is bold, black is beautiful.
Love your skin and be grateful
You're wonderfully made.
Be #blackandproud cos it'll never fade.

Still About This Shade
STILL ABOUT THIS SHADE
Desirous dark shade,
Never faint or fade
Until I get lifelessly laid
Just as I was made
In dust again I am laid
Because life's debt fully paid
So I'll need no skin aid,
Stay sharp as blade,
Melanin and glow I don't lack
Cos skin doesn't crack
No matter how dark
Or struggled to make my mark,
Blacks don't crack,
We stay proud and black.

Fluorescent Beauty
My fluorescent beauty, with lips so pink and fruity
With a smile that's flawless an cutie
With skin, radiantly silky smoothie
And a kiss, so wet and drippingly juicy
like her melanin sista, illuminant with a glow
All that of a Lioness, let good vibes flow
take notice, this stand out, dreadlock girl
there are many like her, just saying, Wow!

Black Woman
An exquisite detail of Ebony
Brown, like gold like dust, this human chassis
The beauty of melanin
Sits proudly on her iris.
She spreads, ogling at the sun
Delightfully
Like it's fiery, spells fun
She stares with lips lurching seductively.
Her existence is nobody's stranger
Like the biblical raven in sky
She has dwelled much longer
Than men learnt to see with both eye.
In between
Her beautiful world
In between, I wish to be seen
Sharing in her royal blood....

Ode
African Queen
Beauty is her face.
Grace is her body.
She has all the earth on her shoulders.
She wears the crown on her head.
She lives with power.
All the might she can give.
Never has to worry about the bad.
Dream of only the good.
Courage is her heart.
Kindness is her smile.
She has dealt with the suffering,
but with the guide of her ancestors,
she rose from the ashes.
Melanin is her skin,
shining in the sunlight.
Let her live in peace.
Let her rule from her throne....
